1. All request must be made in writing. 2. Each request will be read during the meeting and reviewed for a donation from the Community Services Fund (CSF). 3. A member of the Community Services Committee, here after referred to as the Committee, must make a donation recommendation. 4. If no recommendation is forthcoming, no donation will be made. 5. It will take a majority vote by the Committee members present to approve a donation. 6. To be considered, the request must demonstrate need and involve a member of CWA/IUE or their dependent(s) living in the same household. 7. Other criteria to be considered include loss of income, dependents, insurance and any office or team fundraisers organized. 8. These donation maximums only apply to the CSF and do not include any outside fundraisers or national donation requests. 9. Not every request will receive a donation. 10. No donations will be made to members that have gotten behind on monthly payments except those related to a major illness or lack of medical insurance coverage due to length of service. 11. No donations will be made to members on uncertified or unapproved disability. 12. No reply will be sent for nationwide requests that are denied. 13. Denied Requests from members of Local 6300 will receive a written explanation of why it failed to meet the criteria for a donation. 14 Members may also be referred to ouside agencies.
